The photo-catalyst is a type of semiconductors with photo catalyst property. Titanium dioxide is a widely used one. If coated on the surface and illuminated by ultraviolet light, the TiO2 displays strong decomposition property.  It  effectively degrade the toxic and harmful gas in the air and the organic pollutants into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2). It also has strong sterilization, deodorization, anti-mildew and air purification functions. In addition, it has super hydrophilic property, if coated on glass surface, it can keep clean and transparent for a longer time.

The characteristic properties of photo-catalyst are decomposing the organic pollutants into water and carbon dioxide without any changes in themselves. The theoretical life time is remarkable long and the maintain cost is relatively low. TiO2 is widely used in Europe, US, Japan and South Korea due to the harmless property.

  4. High transmittance: over 98% in visible light band.
  5. Excellent robustness: hardness over 8H; the life time could be over 20 years if tempered with glass.
  6. It eliminates many kinds of bacteria effectively. The antibacterial rate is as high as 99%. It decomposes the toxin released by bacteria or fungi. It also has the deodorization functions.
